Hire of Premises at The Mount Stewart Schools

The Mount Stewart Schools welcome the use of our outstanding facilities by the community we serve and beyond. We offer our site for hire for events such as birthday parties, christening parties, community picnics, film screenings, clubs, regular events, community meetings and many more.


We would welcome the opportunity to meet with any community clubs or organisations that would like to establish a long term partnership to enhance access to the local community. 

The Mount Stewart Schools are located in a quiet residential area of Kenton in Harrow, close to transport links such as Preston Road underground station on the Metropolitan Line and Kenton or South Kenton on the Bakerloo Line, as well as buses numbers 223, 204 and 79.


We also have on site parking for events and parking on local streets is free.

Discounts for current families
For our current families with children attending The Mount Stewart Schools, we offer a discounted rate for party hire on Friday evenings and on weekends. For further information please contact our Federation Business Manager at 


Temporary Event Notice

A Temporary Event Notice allows for the holding of a small-scale one-off licensable activity without having a Premises Licence.

  • The fee for the application is £21.00 and can be obtained from Brent Council.
  • The notification notice must be served at least 10 clear working days before the event is to be held.  If we do not receive the licence before the event date, we will not be able to continue with the booking.
  • Mount Stewart Federation will apply to Brent Council on your behalf for the licence


At Mount Stewart we have two halls for hire.  Our largest hall (please see pictures below) has a large stage and is adjacent to a small car park. You will also have access to a reception area and bathroom facilities.


Dining Halls
If you are hosting an event you can also hire our dining halls to serve food. Alternatively, the tables and benches can also be cleared away for the space to be used for other activities.
