Head Students
HEAD BOY

Hello everyone, my name is Rishi, and I am in 6S, I am delighted to be your new Head boy.
I believe that each child should be respected and should enjoy school. Our head student team will try our hardest to make all of the students feel valued, safe and heard, all the way from nursery to year 6.
Mount Stewart has been my second home for the last 6 years, so I want to help everyone here enjoy their time at the school as much as I have and be as successful as they can be.
I am a good listener and will always have time for every single person in Mount Stewart. Feel free to talk to me about anything. This could be: things you like or don’t like about the school, any ideas you may have or even if you just want to say hello.

HEAD GIRL

My name is Amari.
I am truly honoured to be your Head Girl.
I am motivated and keen to uphold and continue to improve the already great values and standards of Mount Stewart.
This year I'd like to focus on encouraging student involvement, promoting kindness and respect throughout the school. I would like to prioritise this, making sure everyone feels cared for.
As your current Head Girl I would like to share my initiatives and visions for the school. Whilst applying for the role of Head Girl i completed a survey to see how students felt about the school and improvements they would like. I found that students valued teachers, learning, play, rewards and that pupils wanted more equipment as well as enrichment clubs. I along with the other head students will look to see how we implement some of thes suggestions to make the school a more valued and happy place to learn and achieve success while inspiring each other.
I believe to make our intiatives suceed, it is key to enhance communication so that everyone's voice is heard, and for this it is important to listen and so I want to hear all your thoughts, view and any ideas you may have to make our already fantastic school even better!
I want to work on showcasing the importance of inclusivity, fairness and making our school more
eco-friendly! I hope to accomplish all this and more this academic year as Head Girl alongside the other Head Students.
I promise to work hard with perseverance to make our school a place where every student matters, every voice is heard and everyone flourishes!

DEPUTY HEAD GIRL

Hi my name is Amaanah and I'm honoured to have been given this opportunity to represent Mount Stewart as Deputy Head Girl.
I will strive to make everyone feel welcome and supported. Each one of us has something special that makes us unique. For me, I'm quite good at rock climbing, creating abstract art and I love reading.
I have lots of exciting ideas, and one of my main goals this year is to make sure everyone enjoys their break and lunchtime. I imagine our school as a place where everyone can find something they love doing and someone to spend time with. Some students might enjoy playing sports, while others may prefer a quiet space or joining lunchtime clubs to meet new friends.
Whether you are new or have been at Mount Stewart for many years, together we can make this year a memorable one.
