RE Ambassadors

At Mount Stewart, we believe the best schools have a pupil-led culture where children take on key leadership roles and get their voices heard. We wholeheartedly value the work of our pupil leaders, using it to shape the Religious Education teaching and learning that happens at our school. We strive to craft confident and articulate leaders who can share their views about Religious beliefs and understanding with any audience and apply their leadership skills to real-life situations. Religious Education Ambassadors aim to enable children to have the chance to have their voices, beliefs, and opinions heard.

RE Ambassadors are responsible for the following:

·Show passion and enthusiasm for Religious Education.

·Be excellent communicators.

·Informing teachers of planning ideas to promote initiatives across the school community.

·Promoting the importance of RE and how we use it in our everyday lives.

·Helping set and lead the development of the Religious celebration display in the corridor.

·Responsibility for RE resources in the corridors.

·Modelling how to look after resources respectfully.

·Be a RE Champion modeling and supporting learning within the class or the whole school context.
