Rocksteady Autumn Concert

The first Rocksteady Music concert of the year was amazing! The bands rocked the stage, showing off how much they'd learned this term. The cool styles and energy they brought were all thanks to their dedication and hard work. A big Thank you to the parents for being there and cheering on their talented children. Your support made the concert even more special, creating a fantastic atmosphere. We look forward to the next Rocksteady concert!

Christmas Carols at Kenton Sainsbury's

The TMSS Choir showcased their impressive musical talents by delivering a fantastic performance of Christmas Carols at Kenton Sainsbury’s. Their harmonious melodies not only spread festive cheer but also contributed to a heartwarming sense of community and successfully raised funds for the charity Hope4Smile.

A heartfelt shout-out goes to Sainsbury’s for generously treating the young performers to delightful refreshments as a token of appreciation for their outstanding musical contribution. The sweet notes of gratitude are also extended to the supportive parents who attended, adding to the positive atmosphere and ensuring the event's success.

A special mention goes to Reyan’s mother for her thoughtful gesture in treating the children to candy canes, adding an extra touch of sweetness to the occasion. The collaborative efforts of the choir, the supportive parents, and our gracious hosts truly made this musical performance a memorable and joyful experience for all involved.

Kenton Light Switch - On Event

On Wednesday, November 8th, the talented members of our KS2 choir embarked on a memorable journey to participate in the Diwali Kenton Lights Switch-On event. This eagerly anticipated celebration served as the grand inauguration of the Festival of Lights in the heart of the Kenton community. The vibrant event successfully united residents, families, and friends in an atmosphere brimming with joy, anticipation, and excitement. Our Mount Stewart children, accompanied by their peers from neighbouring schools, added their voices and performances to enhance the festive spirit for the local community. The highlight of the evening was the joint effort of the Mayors of Brent and Harrow, who led the enthusiastic countdown to illuminate the dazzling lights. It was a heart-warming experience that not only showcased our students' musical talents but also fostered a sense of community and shared celebration. We are immensely proud of our choir members for contributing to the success of this festive occasion and representing Mount Stewart with grace and enthusiasm.
