We are two days in to our PGL experience and all the children are doing extremely well! They have been testing their nerve and taking risks on the Zip Line and Vertical Challenge.
Children showed great resilience and teamwork on the sensory trail in the woods, guiding themselves through the course while blindfolded. Canoeing was a hit, with only one canoe capsizing resulting in two very soggy children!
They were 'one with nature' one might say and both 'claim' they jumped in to save the other! The jury is out on that one!
The children have been reflecting on their experiences at the end of each day, thinking about what they have enjoyed and the skills they have used. They have been developing their collaboration skills, working well together and showing respect to each other and the adults in their groups.
The children have been split into 5 groups each deciding on their team names.
