Over the past two weeks, we have been exploring the properties of 2-D and 3-D shapes and learning how to use mathematical vocabulary to describe them. We have also been busy identifying 2-D and 3-D shapes in our environment and the children have had the opportunity to create pictures using different shapes.

In English, we have been reading 'The Tiger who came to tea'. We have been using our phonics to write shopping lists, the children have written about their favourite part of the story and we have looked at the structure of a story. We have also made tiger masks and investigated animal patterns.
